Bath Pump Room

Just returned from a concert last night in the Pump Room, Bath –  a stunning venue. With such elegance, charm and gemütlichkeit I could almost hear the echoes of Fritz Kreisler. Dripping with opulent chandeliers and sumptuous decor this is reputedly a great place for afternoon tea and was equally wonderful as a concert venue.

A quick update about my teaching. Big congratulations to the string quartet I coach at Perse School, Cambridge who were the winners of the ProCorda National Chamber Music Festival. They performed Ravel’s String Quartet at Holywell Music Room in Oxford last night and will be participating in the Champions Concert later in the year. Well done to them!
